Safety City - Owen

The Waukee Police Department offers a program called Safety City to teach new kindergarteners about bullying, bus safety, drugs, stranger danger, and so on! It is an AMAZING program and we are so grateful to get to be a part of it! It's a week long program... and Owen LOVED it!! Parker did this too when he was entering kindergarten. :)

I am in denial that sweet little Owen John is turning 5!! :( Where have the years gone??

Owen decided that he MUST have a Mario/Luigi party this year... and I am not gonna lie, I was SO EXCITED to get to plan this party! Since I don't have girls to do all of the "frilly" stuff, I like to go all out for birthday party planning!! :)

We had the party at Winfield Park in Waukee... and it was a GREAT time! Here is a peak at Owen's SPECIAL day! :)

Owen's Preschool Program

We had all of the family here... everyone was so excited to see Owen graduate preschool... and wouldn't you know it... he wouldn't sing a word! :( This was one sad Mama! :( He was being a stubborn little boy... and he refused to sing - - even though he knew all of the words! He told us, "I was singing in my head, Mom." So I guess that will have to do! At least we have pictures of our little monkey from that day! :)

Omaha - Children's Museum

We made a quick run to Omaha this past weekend to see the Arizona Ladwig cousins! We spent the weekend there and hit up the Children's Museum for the first time! It was so much fun... my boys had a blast! We even got to face paint by ourselves!! :)

Such a nice "get-a-way"!! :) We will definitely revist the Children's Museum!! :)

Mother's Day 2011

I am so very grateful to be able to call myself a "MOM"!! What an honor and such a gift! I love my 3 boys with all my heart!!

This year we spent Mother's Day with my Mom! She came to stay the weekend! Our day was spent going to church, lunch and then on to Parker and Owen's flag football games! Nina and Papa Hamann joined us after church! :)

Tucker (Lover)

We have had a really tough couple of weeks at our house! I am sad to report that we have had to re-home Tucker. :( He has always been a little hyper... which we coul deal with, but now he has started growling at the boys and trying to nip them when they are anywhere near his food... and we just can't have that! It breaks our hearts to do this... we have never had to find a new home for one of our furry friends, but we all know that this is the best thing for our family and for Tucker. Luckily we found a nice couple in West Des Moines that have no children and can focus just on Tucker! Our trainer is going to continue to work with Tucker and thinks the environment change will calm him down and eliminate the behavior issues. - - we hope she is right! Lucky for us, they give us updates now and then on how Tucker is doing! :) That helps a TON!

It has been the hardest on Mommy and Parker... but we have decided that down the road we will try to get another cock-a-poo again!

Parker is such a dog lover... and since Tucker has been gone he has written many stories and drawn many pictures about his puppy! :( Time is helping, but is sure is sad without Tucker here. Parker has already came up with names for another puppy someday!

We celebrated Drew's 1st birthday at the Ridge Pointe Pavillion Park in Waukee with family and GREAT friends!! It was such a GREAT party... we had lunch (bbq beef, chicken strips, fruit, veggies and dip) and then cake and ice cream. My friend Kim told me about a lady who makes AMAZING cakes... so I ordered the cake from her... and was so pleased!! It not only was ADORABLE, but delicious too! :) She even made a little basketball smash cake!! So cute!! :)

For Drew's actual birthday... we took him to Build-A-Bear to make a new friend to cuddle with! :) His big brothers helped him pick out a cute little puppy and they named him "Drewby Doo"!! Afterwards we went to Buffalo Wild Wings... another idea of his big brothers! It was Wednesday night, so it was kids night at BWW and they always have some type of FUN entertainment for the kids. Tonight was a clown that made balloon animals! Drew and Parker both got puppies and Owen got an adorable frog! :) It was a fun night celebrating Drew's first year... it went by WAY TOO FAST! The REAL party is Sunday, April 17th!

Both Parker and Owen played flag football through the Y this year... and BOTH of them LOVED it!! :) This was Owen's first year (so there are a few more pics of him)... and it was DEFINITELY his time to shine!! He was one of the biggest and oldest on his team, so for ONCE he got the advantage! :) He is so used to playing with his big brother and older neighbors and can't ever seem to win, so this was HIS time to WIN!! :) He really did GREAT and had so much fun each week! Parker had another GREAT year... he played for I9 Sports last year and this year for the Y. He thought he was pretty big stuff getting to have all of his games at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines - - astro turf and all! :) It was a lot of fun this year for both boys, I think we will be signing up again next year!!! :)

We have had some GREAT spring days... and the other day we invited our neighbor, Brady to come along to the park with us to play! The boys all had a great time! Parker and Brady played basketball, Owen ran around on all of the equipment and Drew did some exploring! :) It was a fun trip! :)

Swim Lessons

This year we did swim lessons a little different... we always have the boys do their lessons on the same night, but with schedules getting busier and having a 3rd little guy in the mix, we changed it this time! Parker did his lessons on Tuesday nights... and Owen on Wednesday mornings! Unfortunately, Nick and I couldn't be at both boys' lessons, so we took the 'Divide and Conquer' approach and it worked out well for us! We didn't get many pictures this time, but here are a couple of Owen.

Nina & Papa Hamann took the Edsen family and our family to the waterpark in Storm Lake for our Valentine's Day present! It took us a while to find a time that would work for everyone... so it was the end of March when we got to go. Everyone had such a good time... the boys LOVED it! They went with Nina Hamann last summer and had a great time then too! Here are a few pictures from the trip!

FINALLY... Parker Matthew has lost his 1st tooth on March 15th, 2011 at age 7!! Poor Parker had been ANXIOUSLY awaiting this day for about........ a YEAR AND A HALF!!! :) All of his kindergarten friends were losing teeth and not even a loose one for Parker... then on to 1st grade and still nothing! No loose ones before Christmas... so much for singing, 'All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth!' January passed and still nothing, then on to February... and a-ha, at last a wiggler! Everyday I heard, "Mom, do you think I will lose it today?" and I would reply, not yet, Parker... it will take a couple of weeks I am sure. After 3 weeks, he says, "Mom, it has been 3 weeks now, when will it come out?" I replied, "I know it has, but you just have to be patient!" FINALLY, after about 4-1/2 weeks, he came home and said, "Mom, it is REALLY loose today, do you think it will come out soon?" I wiggled the tooth... and he was right, this tooth was REALLY loose! He asked me to pull it, but I said no and instead wiggled it a bit and to my surprise... out popped his first tooth!!! :) He was SOOO excited!

He got a visit from the tooth fairy too! :)

Ryan and Dana said "I do" this weekend and I was so excited to be a part of their big day! :) Dana looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the wedding ceremony was perfect! We stayed at the Ramada water park for the entire weekend, so the kids got lots of water time in! It was such a great weekend!

Our church (Point of Grace) had a family FUN night at the YMCA on a Sunday night! All of the church members could go and swim, play in the gym, do crafts, jump rope, etc. It was GREAT... it was only open to us (since they normally close early on Sundays) so we got the whole place to ourselves and the kids had a blast!! :) Our friends Kim & Jay and their kids Jessica and Kyle came too... the kids and daddy's all played together while us Mommy's got to chat!! :) We hope they do this again... it was a great family outing!! :)

Our little Drew is trying so hard to walk!! He took his first steps on Friday, January 28th and keeps trying everyday to master this skill! :) He has lots of falls along the way, but it sure is sweet watching him build up his confidence and try to get from one place to the next all by himself! :)

Valentine's Presents...

Nina and Papa Hamann came to visit last weekend and brought little Drew his first Valentine's present! He had lots of help from little miss Caroline with opening his present, because he was more interested in the paper! ha! He got an adorable 'First V-day' bib, a book, and more! The rest of us got cards... and inside were certificates for admission to King's Pointe in Storm Lake!!! It's a water park... and everyone is VERY excited to go!! Drew has a new best friend... and it's TUCKER! :) He and Tucker spend lots of time together... and even though Tucker is hyper, he is pretty calm and forgiving around Drew! :) Poor Tucker gets a beating from Drew... from hair pulling, toy stealing and using him to pull himself up, Tucker takes it all! Which is one of the reasons he has gotten so many chances with us! -- believe me, I have wanted him gone many times, but who doesn't love having a best friend?

After Christmas we took a trip to Iowa City to see the Do Family... and to our surprise, Grandma and Grandpa Wilson came along too! :) We hadn't seen them since before his heart surgery, so it was such a GREAT surprise to see them and everyone! We went out for dinner and visited for a couple of hours and then headed back home. Iowa City is a great meeting place since it is about the same distance for each of us! :)

Over Christmas break we got to have a playdate with our friends, the Erickson's!! We meet with Kim and Kyle often for playdates, but since it was break time, Jessica and Parker got to be involved to! Minus the few meltdowns... we had a good time!! :) We LOVE getting to spend time with the Erickson's!! :)

It's great spending time together... our kids are so close in age... and generally get along very well and I LOVE getting to chat with Kim!! Jessica and Parker are both 7 and Kyle is 5 and Owen 4-1/2!

We drove to Battle Creek to spend Christmas day with the Hamann family... after we finished our own Christmas at home. We opened presents, had a delicious lunch, and spent the afternoon visiting with everyone before heading over to see Great Grandma Hamann and then heading home. Everyone agrees, that we had a GREAT Christmas and got EVERYTHING we wanted and more!! :) THANK YOU to the Hamann/Edsen families! :)

Santa came to visit the Hamann boys... even though there was a little fear that he may not since Parker and Owen had been fighting so much lately! THANKFULLY he made it and even left the boys a letter telling them to keep trying to get along with each other and he told them how proud he was of all of their accomplishments throughout the year!! :)

We took the boys to Valley West Mall for our annual visit to SANTA! They always pick Valley West so they can ride the train and see Santa -- 2 for 1! ha! Owen's Preschool Program

Nina Wilson, Nina & Papa Hamann, Grace and Caroline, Uncle Bubba (Matt), Nick, Drew and I all attended Owen's Christmas program at school on Tuesday... only to see our spirited little boy NOT SING A WORD!!!!! Owen, you ask? Yes, Owen! He didn't sing or do any of the actions AT ALL! A reminder of Parker's preschool years!!! :) Last year he sang with all his might, talked during the program and reminded me to clap NUMEROUS times... and this year NOTHING! :( I was so sad... everyone came and he didn't want to perform! I guess it shouldn't have surprised me so much considering he did tell me that morning that he would only be singing 3 of the songs... when I asked why, he replied that he only wanted to sing 3 of them and that was it! So here are some pictures of my little boy not singing! :(

Teacher Gifts...

I had a hard time coming up with teacher's gifts this year for Christmas... I usually do screens for them, but Owen has all of the same teachers as Parker did at preschool, so I had to come up with something new! After lots of searching online, here's what I came up with...

A jar of "Reindeer Cookie" mix (which were DELICIOUS), almond bark pretzels that the boys helped me make, a cookie cookbook, a spatula and of course a snowman screen ornament!

I am a BIG fan of home-made gifts... so this was so much fun for ALL of us!! The boys loved helping and I included a picture in the cookbook for Owen's teachers of him helping! :)

We took the boys to Jolly Holiday Lights... which has become a tradition for us! It is a GREAT display of lights that you drive through and ALL of the money raised goes to the Make A Wish Foundation! The boys LOVE it... and so do Nick and I! :) This year we got to see Santa there... and the boys were able to get popcorn for a snack so they were excited! :) Here's the FIRST visit to Santa this year...

We took our annual trip over to the 'Gingerbread House' or 'Santa's House' in Grimes! The boys LOVE it!! :) Drew fell asleep in the car, so him and I waited while Nick and the older two boys went through! Christmas Program - Church

Our church did a GREAT program for the kids this year! Parker and Owen BOTH got to participate! K-5 got to do the singing and preschool were the animals, angels, etc. They both did great! Here are some pictures of our 2 older boys! :)

Not so Happy Thanksgiving...

This year was Drew's First Thanksgiving... and Mommy was SICK! (what a 1st Thanksgiving) I had gone black Friday shopping Thursday night and when I got home in the morning the chills, fever and achy feelings started in! Dinner was scheduled for Friday evening at the Hamann's so Nick decided to take the older 2 boys and go to dinner while I stayed home with Drew. - - not a good idea! I got worse as the day went on and by the evening I was in tears begging for Nick to hurry home! I was vomitting by this point too... so definitely not a fun time with a baby depending on you! I ended up being in bed for 3 days straight and was still not 100% on Wednesday!

Friday was also Nick's birthday... so poor Nick didn't get much of a celebration this year! :(

Nina & Papa Hamann always get us ornaments for our family tree and give them to us at Thanksgiving... this year we got a 2010 family ornament to put a picture in, Parker got a Woody & Buzz ornament, Owen got Ironman, and Drew got an adorable little 1st Christmas rattle. Since I wasn't able to go to dinner, the only picture I got is of Drew opening his ornament at our house when Nina & Papa came last weekend. - - THANK YOU for the ornaments... we love them!! :)

Drew's Dedication

Our little Drew Isaac was dedicated on November 21st! We belong to a non-denominational church and do not practice infant baptism... instead we put the responsibilty on the parents and the dedication service is designed for the parents to make a promise to God, themselves and the congregation that they will raise the child in a Christian home and teach the child all about God and then when the child is old enough they will choose baptism for themselves. (this was the way I was raised as well, and our first child to be dedicated versus baptised, so this was a pretty special moment in our lives).

Nina & Papa Hamann, Nina Wilson, Uncle Matt, and our immediate family were all there to witness this special occasion for Drew and Mommy & Daddy.

We had the service Sunday morning and then followed it with a little brunch at our house! My friend Sarah made the cake and it turned out BEAUTIFUL! - - not to mention YUMMY!! :) - - Thanks Sarah!

Debbie Spidle, the children's minister at our church did the service. We got a rose and a certificate for Drew! They showed photos of Drew on the large screens in the background and then played a message I recorded for Drew. The message was as follows:

Drew,

You have brought SO MUCH JOY to our lives. The sounds of your coos, the twinkle in those BEAUTIFUL blue eyes and that smile!

You are a gift from God and we love you so much!

Your big brothers adore you! Your Daddy can’t wait to cuddle you when he gets home… and I TREASURE every minute I get to spend with you!

Brunch...

Parker's 7th Birthday!

We rented a park shelter for Parker's birthday this year... since Mommy was too late to book the bowling alley! :( - - I felt horrible that Parker didn't get to have his party where he wanted, but this was a GREAT aternative! :)

These were little picks to stick in the bowls of m&m's at each table - - these I printed and laminated!! - - LOVE MY LAMINATOR! :)

Shirts...

Candi made the shirts for the boys... we gave these out as party favors along with their goody bags! :) THANKS Candi!! :)

The Cake...

I made Parker's cake this year! I have to admit, it was FUN but VERY time consuming! It was my first fondant cake! I added the little figurines to the cake and they were part of his birthday present too! :)

The Pinata!

Perry the Platypus! The boys helped me paper mache the pinata... and then I had to take over and finish it off - -I'm a little OCD! It was such a FUN project... but again time consuming! It was great having it at the park... we just hung the pinata outside on the play equipment and the boys had at it!

We ordered pizzas for lunch and had veggies and dip to go along with it. And it isn't a party without my favorite yummy punch! :)

The Presents...

Parker got so many presents! He is a lucky boy!! THANK YOU everyone!! :)

The Balloons...

My Mom's friend makes balloon animals/characters and she made these AMAZING balloons of Phineas and Ferb for Parker! I was so impressed.... aren't they GREAT??? :)

Happy Happy Birthday to my baby boy! I can't believe my little punkin pie is already 7 years old! The time has just flown by!! I THANK GOD everyday that I get to be a part of your life! You are such a blessing and I am proud to be your Mom! I LOVE YOU Parker Matthew!!!

Tucker's Training...

We signed up Tucker for puppy classes in Adel for 6 weeks. He learned SO MUCH! He knows: sit, place (time-out), shake, down (lay down), stay, free, etc. He did so well... he was one of the smartest puppies there! Now if he just wasn't so hyper! ha! We got some pictures on his last week - - they had a hotdog bobbing contest and Tucker WON!!! :)

This year the older two boys wanted to be MARIO and LUIGI for Halloween! We had to order their costumes online, because it was imperative that they have the inflatable bellies and those couldn't be found in town! :) Oh those boys!! :)

This is little Drew's FIRST HALLOWEEN so it was EXTRA special! He was a little lamb and a super cute one I might add! :)

The weather cooperated this year so we were all able to get out and do some trick-or-treating around the neighborhood and the boys got TONS of candy! Nina Wilson came to see the boys and their costumes and even went out with us!

Blank Park Zoo

This year we went to the zoo for Night Eyes with Nina & Papa Hamann and the Edsen family... we had never been and Kim suggested it, so we thought we would give it a try! It turned out to be pretty fun!! :) The kids got to collect candy along the way and see the animals... although I think we may try going next time in the evening so we can see the lights as well... I heard it's better in the dark! - - Either way, it was fun and I am glad we all went together!!

Visiting Mere & Jonny

It has became an annual tradition to stop by Mere's house for Halloween and this year was no different! We swung over and spent a little time with Mere and Jonny before heading out to trick-or-treat! :) It's always great to get to visit with Mere and Jonny... maybe one of these times we can get together without our boys! We could use a night out! :)

Reese had an appointment in Rochester so I got to watch Hallie and Piper! We had a FUN day! We went shopping for craft supplies (and saw Hallie's ART teacher at Hobby Lobby - :)), painted, colored, made lunch together and spent the day having FUN!

Deals Orchard - Pumpkin Patch

Don & Jane invited us to meet them (and the Edsen family) at Deal's Orchard in Jefferson on Saturday!! We spent the day at the orchard and then went to Pizza Ranch for lunch and presents for the kids from Nina and Papa!

It was a BEAUTIFUL day... it doesn't get any better than this weather in October!! We all had a great time... the boys did sand art, made ropes, played a pumpkin toss game, picked out pumpkins, rode pony's and the list goes on!!! There was so much to do! :) Here is a peak at our day!

Keokuk...

We went to Keokuk for the weekend to see my dad's side of the family! It's always great getting to see everyone and spend time together like old times... although it always makes me miss dad! Grandma & Grandpa are doing well and I treasure the time we get to spend with them... they are 81 years old!!

This trip back I was able to see my friends Kathy (Rupp) Burkhammer and Chris (Albright) Ison! I try to see Kathy almost every trip back... but I have not seen Chris since 8th grade!!! - - it was great getting to talk to her and catch up! She looks just like she did in 8th grade... times been good to her! :)

Drew tried rice cereal for the first time on the 18th of September... he was 5 months and 5 days old! He did NOT like it AT ALL! I have tried again and still no interest! I am going to try the gerber oatmeal next time and hopefully he will like that better!! :)

You'd think he would welcome any food... since he likes to eat so much! :)

Owen's 1st Day of (4 Year Old) Preschool

Our little Owen John is a BIG BOY now... he started 4 year old preschool this year!!! WOW... the time has flown by! One of the MANY reasons I am so THANKFUL to get to be home with my boys each day! He was VERY excited for school this year!! He gets to go 3 mornings a week for 2-1/2 hours each day! He is going to Westview again this year, so he has some friends in his class from last year... which is nice for playdates!

Waukee Elementary Celebration...

Waukee Elementary is BRAND NEW!! The kids all started this school year at their NEW building... and to celebrate they had a PaRtY last Friday night for the kiddos!! :) We met up with our neighbors there and after the fun we all went to Pizza Ranch for supper!! It was a fun night! :)

Kool-Aid Stand...

Last Saturday the neighborhood kids all got together and set up a kool-aid stand down on the corner! It was so stinkin' cute!!! They ended up making $13 for all of the kiddos to split! :) Oh... these are the memories I never want to forget! :)

4 Months old

We had Drew's 4 month (actually 4-1/2 month) check-up today... and he is one HEALTHY boy!! :) He did NOT like the shots - - poor little guy was so happy and then he got his first shot and his little pouty face started and then he SCREAMED at the top of his lungs! :( Breaks my heart every time! Boy was he mad!

Owen also got checked out for a sore throat... but he was negative for strep and ended up having an ear infection! - - He is on yet another antibiotic and he hasn't complained once of any ear pain! He is such a trooper!

Owen is such a GREAT big brother!! He is always helping me out and LOVES to hug, cuddle, kiss and hold his baby brother... melts my heart! :)

We were lucky to have a visitor a week or so ago... Candi, Reese and Piper (but Piper was sleeping)! Even though it was a short visit... it was GREAT getting to see them!! Reese needed some cuddle time with Drew too!! :)

First Day of 1st Grade

Our little guy is already a FIRST GRADER! Hard to believe... but he is DEFINITELY excited about it! :) His first day of school was Wednesday, August 25th! His school is BRAND NEW this year... so some exciting changes! Also his neighbor friends (Brady & Dylan) are in kindergarten... so he LOVES getting to see them at school! Such an exciting time!! 15 Year Class Reunion

We had our 15 year class reunion this weekend at the Country Club in Ida Grove!! As usual... it was great getting to see everyone from high-school! The turn out wasn't that great this time... hopefully our 20 year is better!! :) Nick and I weren't able to golf this time since we were busy with Mom's house... but we had a great time having dinner and drinks with everyone! - - THANK YOU Nina & Papa Hamann for watching the boys for us! :)

This month the boys have gotten in a TON of swimming at Nina & Papa Hamann's house!! Nick and I have been busy remodeling my Mom's house to sell so she can move closer to us... and the boys stayed with Nina & Papa Hamann! THANK YOU Nina & Papa for all of you help!!! - - we couldn't have got it all done without you!

While at Nina & Papa's house Nina taught Parker & Owen how to tie their shoes!!! - - Parker kept getting frustrated with Nick and I so we told him to ask Nina... and he did! :) He does GREAT and Owen is doing well but still needs more practice on his shoe-tying skills! - - THANK YOU NINA!!! What a HUGE help you have been!

We took the boys to the annual Balloon Classic in Indianola again this year! - -they love it!! We had a great time as usual (although we missed our friends Brenton & Alicia this year)!! Urbandale Parade...

This has become an annual event for us... the boys LOVE the Urbandale parade (it is HUGE)!! This year we even got to see our cousin Hallie with Apex!!! :) - - Reese was in the parade too but we missed her (darn it)!! We got to sit in the shade this time around so it made for a GREAT time and little Drew slept almost the entire time! We were sitting by a great family... the guy reminded me of my dad - - just wanted to give him a big hug, but I refrained! :)

It was rainy for the Waukee parade... but we did manage to snap one shot! :) The activities for the afternoon/evening were cancelled until the following weekend. It was such a bummer... but we did go the following weekend and spent the evening playing in the bounce houses and then watching fireworks with friends... unfortunately I forgot my camera tho! - - grrr!

We spent the 3rd celebrating at our neighbors house! We had a GREAT time and the kids were even willing to forgo the fireworks in Altoona to get to stay at 'Brady's House'!! :) We had a grill out... which was YUMMY and then spent the evening hanging out in the backyard! - - good ol' American fun!! :) They even had sparklers for the boys!! THANKS Brian and Ashley for a great time!! :)

We went to Iowa City over the 4th to see my Aunt Marlene (my Dad's sister), Uncle Long and cousin Tanya! It had been awhile since we got to see them all so since Tanya was in town we thought it would be great to meet there for a quick visit... and for Tanya and Uncle Long to meet Drew (since Aunt Marlene met him over Memorial Day)!! We had lunch and did some shopping... it was a lot of fun!! - - definitely a GREAT meeting place! :)

Aunt Carolyn (a.k.a. AUNTIE CAROLINA) came to Iowa for a visit!!! It was a short visit... but was SO GREAT to get to spend a little time with her! Owen and Drew had never met her yet... so it was exciting that they finally got to meet her! We had a good time talking and catching up! We even had STERZLING potato chips - - Aunt Carolyn's favorite! :)

Drew had his 2 month check up yesterday - - actually 2.5 month! :) Here are his stats!!!

Height: 24-1/2" (94%)
Weight: 15lbs 3.5oz (99%)

He is a BIG boy! We can hardly believe that he could be this big already!! He did NOT like his shots... he had to get 3 of them! I am not sure who disliked them more... Drew or Parker?? Poor Parker had to go out in the hallway because he didn't want to see them hurt Drew and when he came back in he was crying!! - - Such a sweet big brother!! Drew had a VERY fussy afternoon after the shots! :( Poor little guy!

OWEN
Owen had his 4 year checkup yesterday also... here are his stats!!

Height: 41" (59%)
Weight: 39.2lbs (72%)

Owen had to just get one shot (unplanned)... and he tried to be tough, but ended up crying too! :( I had told him it would be a pinch... and he said afterwards, "Mom, that PINCH hurt really so bad!!" My poor little boys!

This summer the boys have been playing hide-n-seek tag EVERYDAY! The neighbor kids all gather to play pretty much every night! It is pretty cute... as I remember playing in our neighborhood when I was growing up! :) My Mom was here and the boys convinced her to play one day during daycare! It was hilarious - - poor Nina wasn't fast enough to get the boys so she was 'it' for quite awhile! - -I think it wore her out!! :)

June 5th was Jesse & Rachel's wedding in Ida Grove! We had such a GREAT time at this wedding... got to see tons of friends and family and our 2 oldest boys had a blast dancing the night away and the youngest loved getting held and loved up on all night!! :) Congrats to the happy couple!! :)
