Owen's Preschool Program

Tuesday Owen had his 1st preschool program! It was hilarious... he was the class clown! Nina Hamann was laughing uncontrollably! :) He did great... even though he was shouting out to me numerous times in the audience! hehehe! :) Here are a few pictures of his performance! - -we also video taped it so can't wait to watch it over again!

Jolly Holiday Lights

We took the boys out to see Jolly Holiday Lights at Des Moines Water Works Park... and this year it was in 3-D!! The lights were GREAT as usual! :) The boys were excited to get 3D glasses... and it made the lights look even better than normal! :) I took a few pictures of some of the displays to share... enjoy!! :)

Grimes Gingerbread House

We took our annual trip over to Grimes to check out the "gingerbread house" again! This year we asked Alicia and Brenton to join us for the fun! :) The boys love it... it looks like the Griswalds!!! They allow you to walk around and see it all... and at the end you get a candy cane! Last year we got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, but this year we missed them! :( It is amazing the number of lights and decorations these people put up! - - it really is fun to see it each year! Hopefully next year we will get to see the "big" guy again! :)

THANKS Alicia and Brenton for coming along - it was great to see you and to get to see how the house is coming along! :) - - - hope you had fun!!! Our boys were crazy as usual! :)

Christmas Fun for Tucker

We decided to give Tucker a Christmas gift early... a little jacket! :) He tried for the first 5-10 minutes to get it off... but then he gave in! hehehe! Poor dog! Parker and Owen LOVE it though... they think he needs his jacket all the time since it is winter! He looks so cute in it!

Gingerbread Fun!

Every year Nina Wilson buys a gingerbread house kit for our daycare to build (which they all LOVE) and we were able to get it built during daycare this week so I thought I would share it on our family blog too! Parker had his 2nd snow day so he was home too and could help us! :) Here is a look at our "MASTERPIECE"! :)

It was fun getting to make this and I will be posting more pics of everyone helping on my daycare blog!

SNOW DAY!

This past week we had a HUGE snow storm! As you can guess... the kids LOVED it! :) We got 14-15 inches total and the boys had a blast playing in the snow! It was horrible out! Nick wasn't able to go into work! We had 5 foot drifts out in our yard... and our whole street was totally snowed in - - ok the whole area! :)

Here are a few pictures of them out in the snow! The last one is of Owen scooping snow in the yard and Tucker running around playing with him - - it was so sweet! :)

We even had a house guest too - - Aunt Kim was stranded at our house from Tuesday night until Thursday afternoon! Parker LOVED having Aunt Kimmy here... he took advantage of it by making a Christmas wreath craft with her! - - THANKS Aunt Kim... it turned out great! :)

We were able to squeeze in a little afternoon nap as well... and Aunt Kim got a picture of us all! (Owen was upstairs in his bed)

What a busy day! I can't remember the last time we all were home to enjoy a snow day like this! :)

Jetco Christmas Party

Friday night we had Nick's Christmas party for Jetco! We got to have dinner at Prairie Meadows and then went out with some of his co-workers in Bondurant. It was a fun time as usual! :) - - We are so grateful that Nick has a job that he loves!! :)

We had Aunt Kim and the girls over to watch the boys for us... and according to the boys they had a GREAT time! - - THANK YOU Aunt Kim!!! - - It's our turn to watch the girls so you and Dan can have a night out!! :)

Tucker Time...

The boys are loving having a new puppy around to play with... Nick and I aren't so sure yet! :) We love him but WOW... puppies are a TON of work! - - I think we forgot just how much! :) Oh well... as long as he gets trained before baby #3 and he is a good boy we will be happy! :)

The other day when it was nice out the boys had fun playing with Tucker outside and I snapped a few pictures.... and thought I would share!
