Happy Birthday to Brylie!

 We were invited to go to Brylie's PURPLE birthday at the 'Purple Park' today! We all wore purple for Brylie's big day! :) She turn 4!! It was such a fun birthday party! :) Thanks for inviting us Lansink's!

Happy 13th Anniversary!

DATE NIGHT!!!! We are celebrating 13 years of marriage (our real anniversary is Monday)!! God has blessed us with so much... Our faith, 3 boys, a great job for Nick and the opportunity for me to stay home with our boys and much more than we deserve... And I am so thankful for all of these things!! Life isn't always perfect and we have definitely had our fair share of ups and downs over these years but I am so thankful that we never give up on each other! Even on the days where we argue more than we should and get mad at our crazy boys... There is no one I would rather spend my days with! I love you Nicker!!
Thank you Papa and Nina for keeping our boys so we can have a night out!!!

Our Little Bike Rider

Drew is starting to love riding his bike! He still gets a little nervous on hills, but overall he is doing great! Now if we can just get his confidence up to take off those training wheels! :)

Nap Time...

Somebody was very tired after school but didn't think he was! He got my i-pod out and was listening to music and rocking in the rocking chair... and look what happened! :) He rocked himself to sleep! I love this boy!!

Zoo Field Trip - 4th Grade

Parker's 4th grade class got to go on a field trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha! They asked for dads to come as chaperones this time... and Nick requested the time off so he could join in the fun! :) They had a GREAT time!

Ronald McDonald

They say "You'll always have a friend wearing big red shoes!" -- Well Drew did today! :) He was so excited to get to sit on Ronald's lap!! :) He LOVES McDonalds!!

My Little Chef

I was working in my craft room and magically a little chef and his four-legged friend appeared! :) He is such a fun little guy! :)

Mother's Day 2014

Happy Mother's Day! Today we took my Mom to church in Sioux City with us and was excited to see the Lansink family there! We asked them if they wanted to join us for lunch after the service and they said yes! The service was GREAT as usual and all of the moms got little containers of chocolate as a gift! We all went to the Olive Garden afterwards for lunch and it was delicious! -- a little chaotic, but non-the-less delicious! :)

Whitey Thompson Hike-Bike-A-Thon

Today was the Hike-Bike-A-Thon! This was the FIRST time the boys have been able to participate! The first year we just watched since Drew was little and we didn't really know what it entailed and the second year it got cancelled due to rain! This year was SO HOT... but the kids had a blast riding their bikes! I on the other hand was wore out!! -- I am so out of shape! :( Nick even got to come.. so he helped with Drew! Next year I would rather ride my bike I think! :) Easier to keep up with the boys! It was overall a fun experience for us all!

That Boy is Stylin'

Owen John is such a little character! He is always wearing funny things, dancing, singing or doing gymnastics in the house! Today he caught me off guard as I was cleaning out the van... I looked up and this is what I saw! :)

Hobby Day 2014

Parker's 4th grade class had their hobby day today! Parker selected football as his hobby and did his display with the Hawkeyes and the Bears memorabilia! He did a great job explaining his hobby to each person as they stopped by his booth! Nina and Papa even came! :)

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Drew has been learning about The Very Hungry Caterpillar at school this week! They got to bring home playdough from school and make their own caterpillars!! He LOVED this! We did it several times!! :)

Awana Awards Night

Tonight was Awards night at Awana! The kids all did great and won lots of awards!!
