We made a trip down to Keokuk to celebrate my Uncle Merlin's 60th birthday this weekend!! It was a surprise party and Aunt Debbie did a WONDERFUL job arranging it all!! Nick even got to golf with the guys... his FAVORITE thing to do with the Wilson's!! The ENTIRE family came... all the cousins were together for the first time since my dad's funeral 7 years ago! It was so nice to re-connect on happy terms!!
The weekend was jam packed full of activities and FUN! We got creme horns from the local bakery, got to celebrate Mitch and his fiance Abby with a bridal shower, got to celebrate baby Soule with a baby shower for Tanya and Wesley (we weren't able to stay for this), lots of time to visit family, and Heather and I took the boys swimming at the Keokuk aquatic center! JAM PACKED.. but lots of fun!! ;)
Happy birthday Uncle Merlin... we were so happy to celebrate with you!!! Congrats Mitch and Abby... we hope the wedding is great and the marriage even better!! And congrats to the soon to be new parents of baby Soule!! We are so thankful for each of you and so glad to be able to spend this time together!!! So much to celebrate!!
